The ty6000z is a room temperature controller used for on/off control of a heater or cooler. The ty9000z is a proportional type temperature controller used in combination with a control motor for proportional control of heating or cooling control valves or dampers. The ty6001z and ty9001z models have a summer-winter changeover switch.
